Can I park at Battello?

Limited parking is available on the pier at Battello. Overflow parking is available in the South Garage adjacent to the Westin Hotel that is charged by the hour. Street parking is available, but will be a few blocks from Battello.

I’m flying in, do I need to rent a car?

We wouldn’t recommend renting a car, unless you plan on traveling elsewhere. Downtown Jersey City is only about a 15-30 min cab ride from Newark airport. Prices for Uber or Lyft vary from $30-$80. A cab is usually around $45-$50. There is also public transit from the airport via NJ Transit and the Path train. Once in Jersey City, it is very walkable and easy to get around with Ubers and public transit.

How do I get to Battello from the hotel?

If you are staying at the Canopy Hotel, there will be a shuttle service leaving around 4:30 pm. If staying at the Residence Inn next door, you can walk over to the Canopy Hotel for shuttle access. If you miss the shuttle, Battello is only about a 15 minute walk or short Uber ride from the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the Path one stop from the Grove Street station to the Newport Station, where Battello will be about a 5 minute walk from the Newport Station.

What should I wear?

The dress code is cocktail attire or semi-formal. All the events of the wedding will be inside, however, Battello has an outdoor patio we will have access to if weather permits. We want all our guests to feel comfortable and festive, so wear whatever makes you feel fabulous!
